Well, I’m back, with a new version of an old, unsuccessful blog. I figure if Wall Street and the politicians can keep spewing out the same, old nonsense year-after-year, Why not me?
Anyway, the new Fineline will be quite different from the old. It will cover a wider range of topics. I will also do most of my posting on the weekends, since I am so busy during the week. I encourage my readership, and I mean both of you, to participate, to challenge my assumptions, to educate me and, of course most importantly, to provide frequent praise and adoration.

I adore you. You are adorable. That's frequent praise and adoration in your first comment. But please keep my identity anonymous.
Keep on truckin', Steve. I'm waiting for an explanation, too. Why don't people get it? It's a mystery to me. I figure that we're in for some hard times if the "mob" does what they want to do. Hopefully, the younger generation will get tired of being fleeced, and put an end to "the mess in Washington." In a perfect world, we would: only public funding for elections, a four-week campaign season with equal free public access for all candidates, four year Congressional terms, true regulation of the financial sector, large scale public works projects to rebuild our disgraceful, third world infrastructure, and a reinvigoration of public education from pre-K through graduate level, and a rapid reduction in military spending. Not gonna happen, and the American Empire will continue its accelerated decline that was begun during the Dubya Bush administration.
