This is truly outrageous. Conservative activists are asking the President to pardon a man just convicted under the laws of the United States without any error and with full due process. How can you conceivably justify that? Of course, Cheney and others may similarly be guilty of some wrong-doing, perhaps even breaking the law, but that does not negate Libby's guilt. Does it suck that he's going to go to prison? Yeah, it does suck for him, but when you work for George Bush and Dick Cheney, do you really expect to be looked out for? These are ends-justify-the-means-always kinds of people, who have no sympathy for anyone... you picked the wrong administration to work for, my friend.
