Mass Transit

Can help solve many of our problems. I'm glad to see some of our public officials recognize this.

"a world-class, first-class transportation system"

Ok, but what would that world-class, first-class transportation system be?

Is it too much to ask that it be cleaner than cars, faster than cars, more convenient than cars, more energy efficient than cars, less expensive to use than cars, less expensive than either light rail or Metro to construct and operate, and take less space than light rail or Metro tracks and their corresponding stations/parking lots/track fencing? That would be a world-class, first-class system.

Metro and light rail aren't that system.
