PFLAG Celebrates Black History Month

...with the Reverend Anthony McCarthy and the National Black Justice Coalition

PFLAG Columbia-Howard County Announces
The February 13, 2007 meeting at 7:30PM in the Owen Brown Interfaith Center

Columbia, Maryland - January 30, 2007

Reverend Anthony McCarthy, a political activist, radio talk show host, publisher and currently a spokesman in Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon’s administration discusses his journey of being both being black and gay.

Then PFLAG mom, Patricia English will relate her experiences on being the mother of an African- American gay son in today's society.

This event is co-sponsored by the National Black Justice Coalition. The National Black Justice Coalition is a civil rights organization dedicated to empowering black same-gender-loving, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people. The Coalition works with our communities and our allies for social justice, equality, and an end to racism and homophobia.
