State Round-Up

Today's theme is pollution. Anne Arundel County Executive Leopold is rightfully worried about Fort Meade's plans to install a huge waste incinerator. While Governor O'Malley is opposing a plan to Build a Liquefied Natural Gas terminal at Sparrows Point. Good for him!

Meanwhile, State Legislators have proposed an ambitious comprehensive health plan. Unfortunately, Senate President Miller says its Dead on Arrival. And nothing happens in the Maryland Legislature that the Senate President opposes. File this one under too good to be true.
